This is a portion of the façade of the Acropolis as seen from the south ... even though the reconstruction scaffolding and cranes mar the view of the interior of the structure, you can clearly see the Doric columns with the distinctive triglyphs running along the top ... the rubble in the foreground is from the Parthenon and various other temples that are also in ruins.
