The primary city of the Halizones.
Located on the southern shore of the Black Sea, Alybe was said to be the "birthplace" of silver. At the siege of Troy, Odios (Odius) and Epistrophos (Epistrophus) commanded an undisclosed number of Trojan allies from Alybe.
The precise location of Alybe has not been established but the following map suggests a likely site.
