During the Trojan War, Skhedios and Epistrophos commanded the Akhaian soldiers from Phokis including the cities of Anemoreia, Daulis, Hyampolis, Krisa, Kyparissos, Lilaia, Panopeus, Pytho, and the vicinity of the Kephisos River.
