A spring in Achaian territory.
During the Trojan War, Eurypylos commanded the Achaian soldiers from Ormenion, the spring Hypereia, Asterion, and the crests of Titanos.
Trojan Prince Hektor told his wife Andromakhe that if the Trojans lost the war, she would be taken to Argos as a slave and forced to work at a loom or carry water from the springs of Hypereia or Messeis.
