During the Trojan War, Eumelos, the son of Admetos (Admetus) and Alkestis (Alcestis), led the Achaian (Achaean) soldiers from Iaolkos, Boibe (Boebe), Glaphyrai (Glaphyrae), Pherai (Pherae), and the vicinity of the Boibeis Lake.
