A Greek island in the western Aigean (Aegean) Sea
Now known as Alonissos, Ikos is one of the large islands of the Northern Sporades group; located northeast of the island of Euboia (Euboea).
The other large islands of the Northern Sporades are—Skiathos (Sciathos), Skopelos (Scopelos), and Skyros (Scyrus).
