Two islands in the southern Aigean (Aegean) Sea.
During the Trojan War, Pheidippos (Pheidippus) and Antiphos (Antiphus) commanded the Achaian (Achaean) troops from Kasos (Casus), Krapathos (Crapathos), Nisyros (Nisyrus), the city of Kos (Cos), and the Kalydnai.
According to the geographer Strabo, the Kalydnai are presumed to be the islands of Leros and Kalymna (Kalymnos), although the two islands are not mentioned by name in the Iliad.
