A river on the Peloponnesian Peninsula.
A generation before the Trojan War, the armies of Pylos and Arkadia faced one another by the rivers Keladon and Iardanos, in front of the city of Pheia. Nestor of Pylos fought a duel with a formidable warrior named Ereuthalion. Nestor won the fight. Ereuthalion was the tallest and strongest man Nestor ever killed.
Placement of the Keladon River on the following map is an assumption based on the Keladon's proximity to the Iardanos River and the city of Pheia. The 1923 Historical Atlas by William R. Shepherd shows an unnamed river north of Pheia and the Iardanos. The Keladon might be that river.
