During the Trojan War, Pylaimenes commanded an undisclosed number of Trojan allies from Paphlagonia, including the cities of Aigialos, Erythinoi, Kytoros, Kromna, Sesamos, the vicinity of the Parthenios River, and men from the land of the Enetoi. The territory of the Paphlagonians had the distinction of being the land where wild she-mules were engendered.
